We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our Customer Analytics team within Global Data & Analytics. This role will transform complex customer data into actionable insights that guide business strategy, strengthen vendor partnerships, and support informed decision-making across the organization. The analyst will help expand access to trusted customer analytics and insights across the organization, including for the Executive Leadership Team. This role involves: Serve as a customer analytics lead for strategic business questions, using internal and external data to identify customer health trends, growth opportunities, behavioral shifts, and performance drivers. Partner with business teams and vendors to evaluate initiatives through a customer lens, clearly identifying what is working, what is not working, why it matters, and what actions should follow. Develop scalable dashboards, reporting, analytical frameworks, and executive-ready narratives that broaden access to trusted customer intelligence across the organization. Translate customer data into business value by connecting insights to customer acquisition, engagement, retention, loyalty, channel behavior, category performance, and long-term growth. Responsibilities Lead analyses of customer purchase, engagement, demographic, loyalty, channel, product, and digital behavior to identify meaningful trends, opportunities, and risks. Partner with Merchandising, Marketing, Media, Finance, Digital, Strategy, and other teams to frame business questions and develop customer-centered analytical approaches. Evaluate business and vendor performance from the customer point of view, including who is buying, how behavior is changing, where engagement is strengthening or declining, and what is driving outcomes. Develop and maintain customer health reporting, executive dashboards, scorecards, and self-service tools that give leaders consistent access to trusted insights. Create vendor and brand insights that help internal partners and external vendors understand customer overlap, acquisition, retention, cross-shopping, channel behavior, category preferences, and growth opportunities. Synthesize complex findings into clear executive narratives, identifying what is working, what is not working, the business implications, and recommended actions. Conduct deep-dive and ad hoc analyses to answer priority business questions and uncover emerging customer opportunities. Establish clear analytical methodologies, definitions, and documentation to ensure customer insights are consistent, transparent, and reproducible. Partner with Data Engineering and data product teams to expand customer data availability, improve analytical datasets, and address gaps that limit insight generation. Implement validation and monitoring processes that maintain high standards for data quality, accuracy, and reliability. Transform business inquiries into innovative analytical solutions, aligning data teams and business partners on objectives, methodology, outputs, and expected decisions. Present customer insights and recommendations through compelling presentations and direct stakeholder engagement that improve decision-making at both working-team and executive levels. Use SQL, Power BI, Adobe Analytics, and other analytical tools to build an expert understanding of customer behavior across channels (stores and digital), banners, markets, brands, and categories. Support customer data integrity investigations, validate fixes, and communicate implications to business stakeholders. Keep analytical deliverables, methodologies, and priorities organized and transparent for partners. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Analytics, or a related field required. Minimum of 4 years of experience in customer analytics, business analytics, marketing analytics, or a related analytical role. At least 2 years of experience writing advanced SQL queries required. At least 2 years of experience working with customer, transaction, loyalty, or digital behavioral data required; experience with a customer data platform is preferred. Demonstrated ability to translate complex analyses into concise business narratives, actionable recommendations, and executive-ready presentations. Experience building dashboards, scorecards, or self-service reporting in Power BI or a comparable business intelligence platform. Strong understanding of customer metrics and analytical methods related to acquisition, retention, loyalty, segmentation, lifetime value, channel behavior, and performance trends. Hands-on experience with at least one analytics-oriented programming language such as Python, Scala, or R is preferred. Strong Microsoft Excel skills and working knowledge of digital analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics. Self-motivated, intellectually curious team player with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with technical teams, business partners, vendors, and senior leaders. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
